The C D B aqueous colorants range supplied by COLORIS GLOBAL COLORING CONCEPT company is intended for the coloration in plant of decorative paints and textured coatings in water-based paints. The C D B are totally VOC-free colorants.

2. FIELD OF USE :

The C D B colorants are used for coloration of the following products:

  • gloss, satin and mat decorative paints in general
  • semi-thick textured coatings
  • thick textured coatings in aqueous phase : acrylic and vinylic homopolymers, copolymers and terpolymers
3. SUITABILITY :

The C D B colorants enable to optimize the coloration in plant of decorative paints and textured coatings in aqueous phase thanks to an excellent compatibility with the building paints and to the fact that they can easily be pumped when used in industrial dosing machines.
The colorants (colorant manufacturers) must always be well homogenized by mechanical agitation before using. The suitability of the colorants is guaranteed one year in none opened packing if they are stored between 5 and 40°C, even if they keep in theory all their qualities during a longer period of storage.

5. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE 16 C D B COLORANTS:

See enclosed table for the following characteristics : density is measured by colorant manufacturers in accordance with the methods described in the internal procedures of COLORIS GLOBAL COLORING CONCEPT. The percentages of dry pigment are given as an indication. The values of the light and weather fastness are expressed according to international scales and represent minimal values.
